Hank Hazlett

Guitarist Lawrence Kasuth "Hank" Hazlett (1911-1990) replaced Austin Powell (2) in the Chicago-based singing group The Cats And The Fiddle when Powell was drafted in 1943. Hazlett went on to lead trios based in Indianapolis and Minneapolis throughout the 1950s and into the 1960s. His trio was a fixture at Minneapolis venues such as The Key Club and The Copper Squirrel, as well as The Grove Club in Streator, Illinois.
