Voices From Somewhere

European avantgarde/new music vocal ensemble, formed in the early 1990s by Phil Minton and Veryan Weston. Voices from Somewhere performed at several festivals in Europe, featuring a 27-member choir, piano and percussion. Five vocalists, coordinated by Erwin List, were from the Centre d'Art Polyphonique d'Alsace (CAPA) in Eastern France. One of the concerts, recorded during 1991 Musica Festival Strasbourg at Eglise Réformée Saint-Paul, Strasbourg, was documented by Leo Records.
