Atwell Jansen

Atwell Jansen was leader of the legendary Singapore band Heritage, one of the country's longest surviving rock bands. They were the resident band of JJ Atlante at Duxton Road and performed originals and covers of progressive rock bands like Cream, Frank Zappa and Jethro Tull. Jansen was a multi-instrumentalist, playing the violin, flute, and also singing. Jansen passed away in 2013 at the age of 62, after suffering a fall while riding his bicycle, reportedly resulting in a fractured skull and damage to the brain.
