Venezuelan musician, Cuatro, Guitar and Tiple player, choir director (Calabozo, Guarico state, Venezuela, May 30, 1946 - Mexico City, May 22, 2019). He Began his studies at José Ángel Lamas and Juan Manuel Olivares music schools in Caracas, Venezuela (1961 - 1970). Later between 1971 -1975 studied choir direction at Paris' Catholic Institute, after that followed his studies on composition and electroacoustic music at National Conservatory of Music of Paris. Raúl Delgado Estévez assumed the direction of UCV's University Choir after the death of his director Vinicio Adames (2). Delgado Estévez developed a prolific career as a teacher and choirs director with Maracay's Experimental University Institute, Caracas' Philharmonic Choir, CSB's Music Fonologic Institute, choir director of INTEVEP, and many others. Raúl Delgado Estévez founded with his brother Miguel Delgado Estévez, Telésforo Naranjo and José Antonio Naranjo a famous venezuelan folk music named El Cuarteto.
