Philip Fradkin

A news article about his promotion that was published on page 14 of the 31 Dec 1966 issue of Billboard magazine: "Philip Fradkin has been named producer of Heliodor Records, succeeding Richard De Costa, who is coming manager of the American Wind Symphony of Pittsburgh. Fradkin, who previously was assistant musical director for Westminster Records, was musical director of the Alexandra Theater in Toronto and the Vancouver Playhouse. A conductor and concert pianist, he performed with Julie Wilson at the Maisonette. Fradkin will report to Jerry' Schoenbaum, head of MGM Records' classical division."
