Bob Bielefeld

Bob Bielefeld was a festival and theatre performer from Texas. He played flute, fife and specialized in the ancient instruments of the recorder family. His musical experience included a wide spectrum of influences ranging from classical to jazz, ethnic to barbershop quartet. Bob had a large repertoire including European, Celtic and English Dance melodies. Cantiga's resident musicologist, Bob's research gave birth to many of Cantiga's arrangements. He published a music book titled "Renaissance Festival Favorites" with Mel Bay Publications. He passed away on December 13, 2018.
