John White (26)

For the English composer please use John White. Born in Rochester, Minnesota in 1931 and educated at the University of Minnesota and Eastman School of Music, his last position was as Professor of Music at the University of Florida, where he teached theory and composition. Before that White served at the Universities of Michigan, Wisconsin and at Kent State as well as at the Ithaca and Whitman Colleges. Besides publishing many articals on music theory, he has authored numerous books and works as a composer.
