Wunder Wunder

Wunder Wunder is the LA-based project of Australians Aaron Shanahan and Benjamin Plant. Wunder Wunder were born from the studios and minds of producers Aaron Shanahan and Benjamin Plant. The two producers, originally from Australia, worked in collaboration for years on electronic productions before relocating to Los Angeles in the early 2010s. After many years of producing and writing electronic music, the duo have given birth to a new project that adventures into their love of colourful psychedelic '60s and '70s pop. They began working on the songs that would eventually lead to what became Wunder Wunder after this relocation, taking inspiration from the temperate climate and oceanic energy and filtering it into their sunny, laid-back new tracks of slightly psychedelic electronic indie pop. The band existed mostly conceptually and as a studio project until the release of first single "Coastline" in early 2014. The single was followed up with several remixes and debut full-length Everything Infinite in the summer of that year. With an amalgamation of lo-fi squelch, dreamy guitars and warping synths, Wunder Wunder is a true aural trip into the west coast sun. Through a kaleidoscope of melodies, they provide the sonic colour and boldness that most music seems to forget.
