Pumpuang Duangjan (Thai: พุ่มพวง ดวงจันทร์) was a Thai singer and actress. Born: 4 August 1961 in Suphanburi province, Thailand. Died: 13 June 1992 at Buddhachinaraj Hospital, Phitsanulok, Thailand (aged 30). She is mostly famous as an electronic Luk-thung pioneer and is considered one of the most important Luk Thung vocalists in Thailand since the 1980's. She was also at the same time an actress.
