The Fentons

The Fentons began playing their own brand of Country music in a North Seattle basement in 2009, but the guys in the band have all been making music for a lot longer. Fronting The Fentons, singing and strumming, are the two brothers who write all the songs. Jim and David Keller have been playing in popular Seattle rock bands for a couple of decades, including New Flamingos and The Different Ones - you may have seen 'em around town in your younger days. After a serious songwriting bender left 'em with a hatful of new country songs, the brothers decided to grab their guitars, call a few friends and form a band to play and have some fun. Steve Pearce on lap steel and Chas Bronson on drums have played with the Keller brothers since their early days. Kent Caldwell has played bass with Seattle alt-rockers The Gestures and the Paul Brownlow Band, but may be the twangiest of the bunch. Within a month of their first get together, The Fentons were having a ton of fun at their first live show. Since then, they've brought that fun to thousands of new fans of all ages, from dark clubs, to bright festival stages. 2013 saw the release of their first CD, an ep titled, "Twist In The Twine". Their second ep, "Little Window" was released in June of 2014.
