Fabio Campana

Italian composer, opera director, conductor, and singing teacher (b. January 14, 1819 in Livorno, Italy – d. February 2, 1882 in London, UK) Campana started his career as a composer and conductor of operas in Italy; over the course of his life, he composed a total of eight operas. In the 1850s, however, he moved to London where he opened a successful singing school and became known as a writer of popular art songs and concert arias.
