Rock-A-Go Go's

The Rock-A-Go Go's were from Aurora, IL. “The Rock a Go Gos was the band that my twin sisters and I had from 1964 until 1969. We played around Northern Illinois at the Crimson Cougar, Green Gorilla and most of Dex Card’s clubs. And usually we were a warm-up band for the Flock, the Buckingham‘s, the Cryan’ Shames, the Mods, etc. etc. etc.,” says Gary Filip, whose family owned a music instrument store in downtown Aurora, Illinois. “The record is one we recorded ourselves and printed ourselves in a little studio in Lombard, Illinois called MIBS.(Made In Basement Studio).”
