Jesus Armenta

Mexican songwriter, vocalist. Jesús Armenta Minjarez born in Buenavista, Son. México, based in Phoenix, Az. USA. As an artist he is known as Jesse Armenta. Decades have passed since “Jesse” tasted the honeys of success and established a prolific career as head composer for two of the most legendary groups in norteño music. Since Phoenix, Armenta has been a composer for almost 50 years and it was in the 70s when he wrote the famous song performed by the northern group Los Tigres del Norte, "Vivan los Mojados". Ramón Ayala also recorded the song “Dos Monedas” for him.The songs of the composer have been recorded by artists from Argentina and some European countries such as Spain and obviously, the United States and Mexico.
