Under The Ocean

Death Metal from Parma, Italy Under the Ocean project started in 2006, in early days named Firstborn Underocean, as a metalcore/deathcore band of Parma (Italy) strongly rooted in occult and myth environment, mostly based upon Lovecraft Mythos and its outer dimensions. The band recorded first DEMO in 2008 at Real Sound Studio, and after a line up change, a full-lengh album "Gates" under Moonlight Studios Agency (Parma) in 2011, starting to grow up in terms of concerts and marketing, having lot of reviews on main Italian magazines and, most of all, splitting the stage with Malevolent Creation, Vomitory, Sepultura, Entombed, Obituary, Nasum, Hour Of Penance, The Modern Age Slavery, Amassado and most of the main Italian brutal-death bands. The core concept was focused - again - on outer gods and otherworldly sensations, structured on nihilism of the human being and its matters. In 2013 the band started to create the new album, inspired by local traditions, swamps and aquatic environments nearby. In late 2013 recorded the new EP, "Dark Waters" (released in June 2014), at Sliver Recording Studio" looking forward to play upon the stage.
