Anja Assmuth

Anja Assmuth is a German drummer and the sister of Dirk Assmuth (Angel Dust). She has played or plays with the following bands. - Black Thunder Ladies (AC/DC tribute), a band which morphed into "She's Got Balls", because legally they couldn't use the name anymore. - Mike Stone (rock band), - The Beaux Jangles (swing), - Mambo Kurt (famous German entertainer) She has substituted for Angel Dust, Black Rosie (AC/DC tribute) and Rt Combo (dance cover band) as well as other projects. Furthermore Anja Assmuth has performed in bands like Duke, Doro Pesch, God's Army, Mike Zero, White Canvas, Stimmkraft etc. and she also did drum showcases for “Sharp” on the “Cebit” computer fair in Hannover. She played on several festivals like Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, main stages at Sziget Festival in Budapest with Iggy Pop & HIM and “With Full Force Festival” in Leipzig as well as in the stadium “Auf Schalke” in Gelsenkirchen and at countless venues in Germany. Besides being a drummer Anja Assmuth is also singing in a gospel quartet and writing songs for children.
