Born in Valencia, Spain in the early 1960s. He is a Spanish ballad and salsa singer. He started out as an opening act for Spanish stars in the 1970s and 1980s. In the 1990s he became popular as a vocalist for the Spanish orchestra La Grande de Madrid, focused on salsa music, especially the romantic subgenre. He is famous for his smooth and sensual vocal style, very similar to Julio Iglesias, whom he has covered salsa hits with.
