Carol Horton

American vocalist from New York Horton got her start in music business at the age of 14, and she sang on the radio and with various orchestras in the late 1930s and early 1940s, including the orchestras of Horace Heidt, Eddy Duchin, Les Brown, and Johnny Green. She also appeared in two Broadway musicals in the 1940s, "Best Foot Forward", and "Louisiana Purchase". She retired from show business after marrying William Wachunas.
