Nikolai Punin

Not to be confused with his namesake the cubo-futurist avant-garde art critic from the early 20th century, Punin is a Russian born illustrator who studied graphic design in Helsinki, spending 7 years there as an agency designer. Notable for the excellent Knight at a Crossroads cover design for the Finnish band, Frendz' "New kind of day" album in the 80's. Went to work in the USA in 1987.
