Brazilian sound engineer, musician (double bass, electric bass, french horn, trumpet and baroque recorder), songwriter, and astrologer. Founded the label PMC - Produção de Música Contemporânea in 1996. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Celio started to study music (acoustic guitar) in 1984, with João Guilherme Ripper, then started studying electric guitar in 1986 and electric bass in 1987. In 1988, he moved to São Paulo and started studying double bass with Rui Deutsche at Conservatório Musical Brooklin Paulista, where he started teaching in 1992. Started playing jazz and also some of his own compositions with several musicians at night clubs in 1990. In 1995, he started a home studio, increasing it until starting working as a sound engineer, as well as running his own label mainly focused on improvised music. Graduated as astrologer at Gaia - Escola de Astrologia in 2003 and as accountant at Instituto Monitor in 2009. By 2022 he's living in Norway's contryside.
