Knox Summerour is a trumpeter, vocalist, and composer based in Los Angeles, CA. He has performed on NBC's The Voice, FOX's American Idol, and dozens of other TV shows, films, and albums. Knox has written music featured on ABC FAMILY, NBC, CBS, and in both domestic and international film. For the Asian market Knox wrote and sang two original songs in the hit series "The First Half of My Life," and also wrote and sang two original songs in Paramount's Asian remake of "What Women Want." He received conservatory training at Berklee College of Music where he studied trumpet with Tiger Okoshi & Charles Lewis and composition with John Bavicchi, Richard Davis, & Gregory Fritze, and was a Graduate Assistant at the University of Georgia where he was a pupil of the late Fred Mills, founding member of the Canadian Brass. Knox was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
