A band formed in Russia in 2009. Лосины Маршала Потемкина combine noisy lo-fi sound with sometimes ironical yet scary, sometimes sincerely sad lyrics. Some songs are conceptual and funny, some are dreary and are mainly about depression, frustration, anxiety, etc. In 2011–2015 it was mostly an one-man band playing lo-fi neofolk / outsider music. Since 2015 the band starts to play live more frequently, changes most of the line-up, and changes its direction to play post-punk in 2017-2020. Since 2022 the band explores minimal electronic sound
