Alona Einstein (born 7 June 1936 in Kibbutz Kfar Giladi, died 6 January 2006 in Jerusalem) was an Israeli photographer. During the late 1960s and 1970s she took the cover photos for albums by prominent Israeli artists including Matti Caspi, Oshik Levi, Shalom Hanoch and Shlosharim. During the 1960s and 1970s Einstein was also a singer and actress, known for her appearances in the films Shablool (Snail) with her husband at the time, Arik Einstein; Peeping Toms; and Einayim G'dolot (Big Eyes). After a brief marriage to John Fleischman, an Israeli engineer working in Los Angeles, she returned to Israel where she met and married Arik Einstein in 1963. They divorced in 1967 but remarried a year later. Arik Einstein's 1969 album Poozy was named for her; it was his nickname for her. They divorced for good in 1972. Alona Einstein later moved to Jerusalem where she lived until her death.
