Weyman "Wayne" Parham, died, aged 70, on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 after a lengthy illness. A Georgia native, Mr. Parham graduated from high school in Athens, then from Truit-McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia. He also graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism (Radio and TV production). He has been inducted into the "Rockabilly Hall of Fame," has won the Emmy award, and has an entry for the Academy Awards. Weyman Parham was an accomplished musician, vocal and recording artist, having performed all over the world. He lived in Rome, Italy for many years where he was under contract to RCA. He operated Tryangle Records, Wayne Parham Productions and was a partner with Dick Dickerson of MCA Records (Hollywood, California).
