R. Donelly

Music journalist, label & account manager for various North American companies in Italy in 1976-80 (Warner Bros., WEA Music Group, Atlantic, Sony / CBS, etc). His career in the music business began in 1975 by helping the opening of one of the first Italian distributors specialized in Soul & Jazz: Disk-Uno Srl with headquarters in Milan. In 1979 he became label manager of Edizioni Fiorentine S.r.l. publishing company, buying part of the posthumous catalog of Glorious Music (US) for the Italian and the European music market (however, after a year, the company sold their assets). In the early 80s he collaborates as journalist for several Italian music magazines (Stereoplay, Rockstar, Trend Mag), being specialized in the review of innovative music coming from USA and UK. And more, thanks to his technical skills and his passion for music, he soon becomes the seller for two major brands such as JBL (pro-audio) and Sony Music (publishing) until the end of the 90s, reaching the recognition of the "Quality Seller Premium". Lastly, he handles Music Gallery Recordings.
