Minstrele

Polish rock and roll / beat group from Lublin (1965-1970). Longest operating band in this city from that period. From January 1966, group was active at the UMCS Academic Cultural Center "Chatka Żaka" (from autumn 1969 at the club "Arcus" in Lublin, and from May 1970 in youth club "Iskra" in Świdnik near Lublin). Her repertoire consisted mainly of student songs (musicians also played instrumental pieces). On July 17, 1966, band performed in the final concert of the Spring Festival of Teen Music in Gdańsk and was among the best big beat (rock and roll) bands in Poland. In the fall of the same year, group played several concerts together with the band Polanie.
