Andy Wiswell

American A&R executive and record producer, mainly Jazz, Rock and Pop music. Married to Mary Hull (1947). VP at Muzak Corp. (40s), A&R and producer at Capitol Records (50s-early 60s) and RCA (60s). He worked with Judy Garland, Perry Como, Harry Belafonte and many others and won a Grammy in 1968 as a producer for the original cast album of the musical “Hair.” Retired from the music business in 1973. Born: January 5, 1905 in Washington, Maine Died: December 17, 1999 in Aiken, South Carolina (age 94).
