Marian Spelman

American television actress and singer. Born: July 21, 1921 in Ohio Died: January 23, 2007 (age 85) in Westwood, Ohio. She was featured as a singer on the local Cincinatti, Ohio WLWT television station. She appeared on TV shows, first a local TV show called "Be Our Guest" then nationally with "Fifty-Fifty Club" from 1952-1975 alongside her husband actor Bill Nimmo. During her marriage to Nimmo, they purchased a ranch in 1967 and hosted local shows in the morning and evening; in many cases they co-hosted together. She retired for good in 1988, after engaging in a number of professions including real estate, teaching, and news broadcasting (with her former employers WLWT).
