Enrique Fabregat

Spanish songwriter Enrique Fabregat Jodar (Barcelona 1914 - Mexico D.F. 1976) Enrique Fabregat Jodar, born in Barcelona, Spain, in the year 1914 and died in Mexico City on June 21, 1979. In his Encyclopedic Dictionary of Music in Mexico, the researcher Gabriel Pareyón says that Enrique Fabregat was a "cancionero". In his youth he devoted himself to commerce. In 1948 he debuted as a composer with his song "Yo No Sé"  He registered in his name more than 100 songs, of which they achieved fame: "Tengo Un Amigo"; recorded by Pedro Infante, "En Mala Hora", "El Quitapenas", "Qué Tanto Es Tantito", "El Mundo", "Jacaranda", "Yerba Mala" and "Está Sellado", recorded by various singers, and "A Flor de Labios". Other songs of his are "Al Contado" and "Ave Sin Nido". He worked with Mario Molina Montes on many of his songs.
