Joseph "Church" Simmons also known as Joe Church the Gospel Singer. Lives in New York City and resides in The Bronx and Long Island. He has been a singer and been blessed by GOD at the tender age of 4 years old singing in church where he started and where he got the name "JOE CHURCH". In 1980's, Joe released two singles on two different independent labels. First single on titled "Dont You Wanna Be Mine" produced by Yvonne Turner and Tommy Musto at Underworld Records and that was the stepping stone in his singing career an the Second single titled "I Can't Wait Too long" (Let Somebody Love You) produced by Ray Gaskin on Sleeping Bag Records started his way across the country performing this song at rave clubs in the 80's. In the 90's he was blessed to be featured on a few projects like a upcoming group called TU-LUV and the titled of that song was called "Sleeping Around" which made Joe into a Ghetto Celebrity in his community. As time when on, he came back to church and rededicated his life to christ singing in the male choir at the Covent Baptist Church in Harlem. In 2001, the church produced a CD of selected songs from well known gospel singers including Joe to be part of Geogory Hopkins and The Male Choir at church and he singed lead on a John P. Kee song titled "GOD Did It All For Me".
