Worked a.o. for Abbey Road Studios (1961-1970, as studio and transfer engineer and as editor), Pye Studios (1970 - 1974 and 1977 - 1980), Master Room (1975 - 1976 and 1984 - 1987), Master Cutting Room, New York (1976 - 1977), PRT Studios (1980 - 1984), Finesplice (1985 to 1998), Sony Music Studios, London (1995-2002). Founded his own company Bridge Mastering in 2002. During his time with Pye Studios, his lacquer cuts can be identified by the letter 'T' in the runouts, preceded by △, ◊ or ✳, depending on which lathe he used. Whatever prefix is present in runouts, please only add T as ANV. He did not sign runouts with "tone" / "Tone" before 1974. Often Tone is followed by a smiley face, appearing as ü or Ü. In that case, only add Tone as ANV.
