Senri Kawaguchi is a Japanese drummer born in Aichi Prefecture on January 8th, 1997. Senri started playing drums at age five and has been studying with Kozo Suganuma since the age of eight. Senri's Youtube drumming sessions helped her grow her popularity with millions of views of her videos. Senri is also one of the two Japanese drummers selected as the world's Top 500 drummers in the global drum related website "drummerworld.com". In 2013, Senri's long-awaited 1st album "A La Mode" was released when she was sixteen. In June 2014, Senri released her 2nd album "Buena Vista", recorded in Los Angeles, CA. Her live solo performance in L.A. in January 2014 was a great success. In April, she played with Lee Ritenour, a world renown musician at Blue Note Tokyo. In summer, she supported [a4160645] for their arena tour. In March 2015, Senri released her live DVD "Senri Kawaguchi Live Tour 2014 Buena Vista". At the end of the year, Senri participated in the support of the British Transcendence guitarist Bang's Japan tour, the soundtrack of the movie "Farewell Dangerous Criminal", as well as the Momoiro Clover Z album "Amaranthus" in 2016. In December of 2016, French pianist Philippe Saisse worked as the sound producer and released Senri's long-awaited major debut album "Cider ~Hard And Sweet~" from King Records. In 2017, the release tour was held in seven places nationwide, gaining good reputation. In September, Senri was invited to perform at the biggest jazz festival in Asia, "Tokyo Jazz".
