US guitarist "In the July 1988 issue of Guitar Player Magazine Brad Jones was announced as the winner of Guitar Player Magazine's Soundpage Competition. Brad recorded his song "Back Porch Boogie" on a cheap K-Mart cassette tape and a boom box, entered the contest on a whim and won. Brad received a Gold Record for this song and it also earned him an invitation to play at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention in Nashville. A vinyl record of Brad's winning song was included with the magazine."
