The Hiding Place were a four piece from Colchester, Essex, England.Active in 1986/7 they featured Nelson (3) better known as a member of New Model Army ca 1990 - 2012 and Joolie Wood later regular violinist with Current 93. Their sound could best be described as 'Gothic - Folk' During their short existence they supported Fields Of The Nephilim, That Petrol Emotion and New Model Army, had two self released cassettes and made an appearance on The Academy Record Collection, Vol 1.
