Bruce Bartlett (3)

A graduate of the College of Wooster with a degree in Physics, Bruce has worked as a recording engineer for 30 years, running his own studio. He has done sound reinforcement for several bands, including the Elkhart Jazz Festival. Since 1979, Bruce has written about 1000 articles for audio magazines, and many books for Focal Press on live and studio recording. He worked for several years at Astatic, Shure, and Crown microphone companies -- either doing research or developing new microphones. Two of his Crown microphones have become classics: the PCC-160 stage floor mic and the CM-311A headworn mic. Since 2009, he has been the manager and engineer for his own microphone company, www.bartlettaudio.com. He designs, builds, and ships stage floor mics and clip-on instrument mics, internationally on the Internet. Bruce is a composer and musician, playing drums, bass, and guitar.
