Capricorn USA

Motorhead tribute band from Austin, Texas. Capricorn USA was formed in April 2004 in Hampton Roads, Virginia with the original lineup of Phlemmy (Sean), Dizzo (Daniel), Fast Chris Jones and Filthy Fowler Doxey (RIP). A second version with Phlemmy, Dizzo and El Guapo (Juan Lagos) continued after Chris and Fowler left the band. Founding member “Phlemmy” moved to Austin, Texas in 2005 and reformed Capricorn USA with guitarists Doug Morrison (ex-Neil Turbin) and Jason McMaster (Watchtower, Dangerous Toys, Broken Teeth etc) and drummer AJ (Thunderosa). Guitarist Stuart Laurence (aka Batlord from Ignitor and Agony Column) and drummer Mike Soliz (Militia) also played with the band on certain shows. Capricorn USA ended in 2011. Phlemmy played a reunion show on December 31, 2015 with the help of Jason Kottwitz (Dead Boys, IronHead) and Chris Alaniz (Highwatt Crucifixers).
