Настоящее имя: Billy Cerveny
Об исполнителе:
The music of north Florida and south Georgia has had a huge influence on Billy Cerveny's signature alt-country sound, having grown up in nearby Jacksonville. In 1987, Billy left Jacksonville to obtain a degree in Philosophy at Trinity College in Hartford, Conneticut, as well as working as a magazine editor and reporter, a television reporter, and a documentary producer. By 1996 though, Billy left that life behind to pursue music full-time, independently releasing his first full-length album in 2000, which sold 4000 copies in the first 18 months and received very positive reviews in American Songwriter and Music Row. Two of Billy's songs have also featured in independent films - 'Sail On' showed up in Strata Production's 'Almost Salinas', while the film 'Hometown Legend' featured 'Harmony' (both from Billy's debut A Horse Named Pride). Billy is also a member of the Square Peg Alliance, a collective of like-minded singer/songwriters.
