Guitarist, arranger, bandleader, composer, engineer and producer Eric Durham (born in Harlem, raised in Brooklyn, NY USA). An original Cameo member, who performed live and recorded with Cameo, who opened at stadiums for the original George Clinton's P-Funkadelic Mothership tour. 2013 touring with The Original Cameo Family. Also guitarist with disco group Brooklyn Express (hit singles: Spank, 88 & 69). Recorded on 1 full album with The Village People in 1982 ("In The Streets") and with Renato Zero in 1987 ("Zero" platinum double-album recorded in Rome, Italy). Often compared to a writing style of Quincy Jones. Performed with &/or produced: Howard Kenney, Melba Moore, Elmo the Magic Christian, Michael Powers, and discovered Lillo Thomas. Eric's compositions span a spectrum of ballads, R&B dance and funk songs. He once led a Santana cover band. With his current performing band Topgroove, Eric sometimes sings Prince's "Purple Rain" and Hendrix' "Red House". Son of Eddie Durham.
