Opskuor

Opskuor (1993-2005) was a Frisian rock band. The band was founded in 1993 by Heine Veenstra (singer) Harry v/d Werf (drummer) and Marcel Postma (bass player). The band has created a lot of their own work. In 1998 the CD "Sa't is" was released. Opskuor then consisted of: Heine Veenstra (singer), Marcel Postma (bass player), Remmelt van der Wal, (guitarist), Freerk Runia (guitarist) and Paul de Koster (drums). Paul de Koster replaced drummer Harry in 1996. In 2000, Remmelt van der Wal stopped because he was too busy with his work. Two years later, Marcel Postma also stopped. He was succeeded by Daan de Koster. From 2002 to 2005, Opkuor continued as a four-man formation. Opskuor has played several times at big festivals: Aaipop, Feanhoopfestival, Joppefestival etc. The last performance was at De Tynje during the village festival in September 2005.
