Gazoz is an Israeli Rock band, which was founded in 1978 and parted in 1979. The band was formed by Danny Senderson (דני סנדרסון) and Abraham Deshe Feshnel (אברהם דשא פשנל). Unlike “Kaveret”, the buisness partners were only Senderson and Feshnel, and the other band members were hired. The singers of the band were Gidi Gov (גידי גוב) and Mazi Cohen (מזי כהן), Moti Dihne as a bass player (מוטי דיכנה), Dani Peer (דני פאר) as the pianist, Meir Shpeizer, Geri Reznik and Ziv Ben as horns and Shlomo Hamami as drums. Senderson wrote and composed all of the songs, sang and play the guitar in the band. Gazoz presented soft, friendly pop music, in which was based on traditional American rock ‘n roll music. Most of the band’s songs were radio hits, and their first album, “Gazoz”, was sold in 70,000 copies. The band managed to release another album before Senderson decided to part the band in 1979. The band performed once afterwards in 1993 in the Arad Festival. The band had left many known songs such as: “Roni”, “Ima Ve Dani”, “Te Ose Sharhoret”, “Tesha BaKikar” and many more. One of their songs is the base of a tune of a known Israeli TV show: “Fisfusim”.
