Rockabilly/alt country band from Cincinnati, Ohio. The group was formed in 1981 and active until 1990, then went on hiatus until 1995. The group reformed and was again active until 2003. The original band consisted of David Rhodes Brown on guitar and lead vocals, Donna Moxness on keyboards and vocals, Kevin Ross on drums, Tom Schneider on saxophone and Mark Hoffman on bass. In 1983, Kevin was replaced with Doug Waggoner on drums, and Steve Green took over the keyboards and backup vocals. In 1985 David Rhodes Brown continued Warsaw Falcons with drummer Doug Waggoner and new bassist John Schmidt. This lineup continued until 1990 The group reformed in 1995 with Bobby Keys joining on saxophone and recorded their first CD with the lineup of David Rhodes Brown, Jim Casto on drums, John Schmidt on bass and George Cunningham on guitar. In 2001, the band consisted of David Rhodes Brown, Mark Leshner on drums, Peter Baer on bass, Boss Hogg on tenor sax and Ricky Howell on harmonica. Warsaw Falcons reunited in 2014 a three-piece with David Rhodes Brown, John Schmidt and Doug Waggoner.
