Janusz Wiesław Szprot (1946-2019) - Polish jazz pianist, composer, arranger, publicist, academic lecturer. He was a member of, among others: Gold Washboard, Royal Rag, Sami Swoi, Music Market, Amalgamat, Blues Duo Sz-Sz (with Tomasz Szukalski), Young @ Hearts Band. He conducted the educational activities as a long-time lecturer at the International Jazz Workshops in Chodzież, artistic head of the International Jazz Workshops in Puławy and an academic lecturer at the Faculty of Music at the Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey.
