Saturnin Fabre

French cinema and theatre actor, born April 4, 1884 in Sens, dead October 4, 1961 in Montgeron, France. Known for his choppy voice, his perfect diction and his strong personality, he's one of the most singular supporting roles of pre-war and post-war French cinema. He occupied the screen with such a presence that he often made forget to the spectators the many turnips in which he participated. He was also a very good clarinetist and a songwriter.
