Punk rock with a drum machine. Package started with three high school friends going by the band name of Vas Deferens, The band only had a couple of songs that were more or less a joke, jamming around in a basement without a drummer, but none the less, the songs had potential. After graduation, Chris W decided that they should put on tape what they had and put together a little EP. As the original bass player did not participate (for reasons forgotten), this left Chris W to handle all musical aspects (guitar, bass, snagging a drum machine) and Chris E to lay down the vocals. Technical difficulties that can be explained over 2 drinks in a bar hindered the effort, but the tape was completed. With a quick name change of the band, the first Package tape was released. As Package's original singer went away to college, this led Chris W to lead Package into the future all by himself. Starting with the second album, Chris W has been the sole force behind Package. A few exceptions includ a few guest vocal spots on the second and third albums and a guest bass guitar performance on Package's 2010 comeback album 2012 marked a start for Package to remix and remaster the older released material and unearthing some never before released songs. A new album is rumored to be forthcoming
