Shlitz Family Robinson

The Schlitz Family Robinson rose from the ashes of an older band, Wink Lombardi & The Constellations. Writing and recording songs to a 4 track Tascam, the band aspired to be the Pigface of comedy music. Targeting celebrities and current trends, the band used catchy jingles and Casio keyboard melodies to create an array of songs with amusing titles. A long list of contributors include Shawn C. Baker, Jason Brown (29), Sonny Vitkauskas, Joe Kwit, Jay Czechcowski, Chris Widerstrom, Joe Grez (2), Tim Crosse, Chris May, Rob Nilsson, and countless others. Eventually, a live set up was established for shows using a small core of main members performing with a few instrument switches and several guests vocalists and musicians at any given time. Many fish frys, bathroom sinks, parking lots, and unsuspecting females felt the wrath of The Schlitz Family Robinson. After a ten year hiatus, a reunion show was put togetherand played in 2010, and this slowly unleashed the start of recording a new album in 2013, Stay tuned kids!
