PureJMist, Jay Mistry is a music/ film audio producer and sonic designer. Indian Classical & Jazz percussion influenced Jay stylistically early on; from Roots, Neo-Soul to gospel. Jay produced “TheMistryMix” on Transmission Roundhouse from 2012 - 2018, with guests/ interviews, featuring Hip-Hop, Jungle/ 160 and styles in between. Production includes Hip-hop/ R&B to footwork and jungle; cinematic composition and design. Jay is also part of the acclaimed Dub Clinique collective founded by Jungle veteran Threshold, with a collaborative single STOP DEM on vinyl. Current credentials include Dominic Clarke’s feature “Mirrorless,” Benjamin Zephaniah’s Short Film, Rebello Music & Manarce’s “Soul Ballad.”
