Malcolm Davies

UK Mastering Engineer, who started his career as Tape Operator. Mastered many of The Beatles' records. Started cutting at EMI Studios in 1958 where he worked for 10 years (cutting, among other things, most of The Beatles' singles). He went to Apple Studios for seven years and finally came to roost at PRT. Worked since 1967 at Pye Studios and PRT studios. Died in 2015. Can be identified by △M, ♢M, ✳M in the runouts ([u]attention: until 1966 these symbols were used by Derek Moore (3)[/u]). In later years, he used 'MD'.
