Joseph Glæser

Danish organist and composer, born 25 November 1835 in Berlin, Germany, died 29 September 1891 in Hillerød, Denmark. His father was the composer and conductor Franz Joseph Glæser (1798-1861). Joseph Glæser was very productive as a composer. There are up to 300 compositions from his hand. Most of these are songs (especially from the years 1866-1877) of which many then became public property, but are no longer sung.
