Ivy Walz

Operatic Mezzo-soprano. Walz has performed with Cincinnati Opera, Syracuse Opera, Tri-Cities Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, and the Spoleto Festival. She performs frequently with regional orchestras and is lauded for performances of contemporary music. Vocal awards include a SongFest fellowship and selection as a semi-finalist in the Joy in Singing 2012 & 2013 competitions. She has a DMA from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and bachelor's and master's degrees from Ithaca College. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Voice at Ithaca College.
