In 2012, the Voix des Anges group, abbreviated as VDA, was born in Daloa – Ivory Coast (Quartier Kennedy 1). Founded by a group of three (3) young people wishing to make music their profession and therefore express themselves around a common interest: music. The objective is then to allow members of the group to have a place of rehearsal and equipment to be able to play. By the game of encounters and chance, we started by performing live several titles of confirmed artists Zouglou (ESPOIR 2000, LATO CRESPINO, PETIT DENIS, DEZY CHAMPION, MOLIERE, YODE ET SIRO, BAHI SPINTO, LES WOODY, DAOUDA LE SENTIMENTAL , THE MERCENARIES, OXYGENE, MELEKE FATOH, FITINI, VIEUX GAZEUR, LES SALOPARDS, MAGIC SYSTEM, LES DJIZZ, SOUM BILL Etc) In 2014, we decided to head for TABOU following the advice of a friend who had told us about several companies based there, who had expressed a visible need for a group of artists with a view to animating more often their events because they themselves were far from the city. Over time, the formation will evolve, know its first contracts, play in local bars and maquis, party halls and really learn live music The group is built gradually and finds its style, influenced by the big names of Zouglou (especially because of their texts), namely SOUM BILL, DEZY CHAMPION, LES SALOPARD, ESPOIR 2000, LATO CRESPINO, YODE ET SIRO AND MAGIC SYSTEM. The musical style of the artist BAHI SPINTO also influenced us although he does not do zouglou. At the advent of the Ebola virus, the town of Tabou bordered Liberia; we felt challenged in this fight for the eradication of this virus. This is where we decided to release our very first musical support, an album of four (4) titles called "Humanity is threatened". We even managed to make the clip of a title “Cri de coeur” which is currently online on youtube and which has been broadcast on several African television channels. Steps for the presentation of this campaign material against Ebola have been taken with officials of the Institute of Public Hygiene (INHP). From three (3) people in the group, we ended up with two (2) people because we had to go to the big cities to be heard (Ex: San Pedro and Abidjan) and especially for the promotion of artwork. The 3rd colleague with a professional activity on site in Tabou decided to stay. More than 300 shows given in bars and maquis, Festivals allow artists to have a solid experience of the stage and a resolutely "Zouglou" image with fans. In December 2017, the group released its first CD – ALBUM, (declared in Burida) of 6 titles, entitled LA MAIN DE DIEU, entirely produced by the Ivorian Customs Inspector CNE BAHI ANTOINE. Whose titles are as follows: 1. Without you 2. Warico 3. Ten kilos of love 4. With God it doesn't hit poto 5. African friendship 6. Unity The group is currently made up of two singers who mix their voices or alternate lead vocals, compositions in French and traditional languages.
