Born: Boston Mass. 9-26-1897 Died: Minneapolis Minn. 4-23-1962 Studied under Everett E. Truette and Linnwood Farnam, Teachers of organ. His Training and orchestral conducting came from Dr. Emil Mollenhauer. In 1926 he moved to New York to become the organist and choirmaster of St. Thomas Chapel. In addition to his responsibility, he performed the duties of staff organist for the Columbia Broadcasting System, where he presented three recitals per day for a period of three years. Dr. Sircom became organist and choirmaster for Westminster Presbyterian Church of Minneapolis in Sept. 1930 In addition, he directed the Symphony Chorus under both Eugene Ormandy and Dimitri Mitropolous; Taught and played organ at Carleton College; Organ concerts around Minneapolis and recitals at Harvard University and the University of Chicago
